This 3-day course will focus on participants needing to increase the knowledge of their audiences with whom they are working. As a result, they will be able to design and deliver messages in a way that meets the needs of those audiences.
During this course participants are required to design and deliver their own presentations. Participants will acquire the theory, skills and methods to design and deliver effective presentations that will increase community awareness and support for CBR initiatives. As a result it is expected you will be able to deliver better presentations in the field of disability, development and rehabilitation to various audiences; and ultimately contribute towards improving the quality of life of people living with a disability.
Among other message delivery methods, participants will be taught about the effective use of PowerPoint presentations and effective use of Active Learning methods.
